Cask conditioned at Moreton in Marsh Beer Fest ’12. Tawny red with white head. Something a little different here, certainly pretty sweet and fruity, plummy, damsons followed by a sharpish twang, like a slightly corked red wine, this adds to the beer rather than detracts. Decent.
Cask, gravity, The Hop Beer Shop, Chelmsford, 23rd December 2015.
White lacing. which is prominent. Dark red glow. Some crystal. Opaque. Very malty traditional ale. Sweet Slightly sweaty. Old hops? A little blue cheese. Blackcurrants. Crystal. Meh. jercraigs (10303) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 4, 2015

Almost clear deep amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly minerally crisp. Unsweet caramel malts, slightly nutty too. Bitterish dried fruits. There is a slight aged taste to this beer yet the palate is fresh and crisp. Light dry finish, modest bitter linger. Slightly left field.

Cask at the Three Cups, Bedford. Ruby with small off-white head. Caramel, berries, a bit of earth and fallen leaves in the nose. Taste starts as a typical malt bomb, but has a decent hoppy bitter tang in the finish. Concentrated bitter aftertaste. Not bad. MrBlueSky93 (524) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - FEB 14, 2015
Bottle from Eebria.
Pours ruby red in colour, single finger off white head, medium carbonation. Aroma of malts, toffee, caramel, but very hoppy. Lovely initial wheaty taste, then many malts, biscuit, caramel, toffee, breadiness, then hops, citrus, lemon, orange. Very nice. Mr_Pink_152 (4887) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - DEC 26, 2014
