Draught multiple times. Caramel malt and tropical hops are nicely balanced, notes of spice and red fruit, medium body, long hoppy finish. Delicious hoppy amber ale, quite rich and smooth. mrjez (680) - Osaka, JAPAN - OCT 26, 2015
From old notes earlier in the year. jbeatty (1263) - New York, USA - APR 16, 2015
A cloudy dark ruby colour, with a decent finger of beige head. Lovely piney and citrusy hops, a caramel note. Taste not quite as great as the aroma, but a nice balance of earthiness with lively hop, some fruitiness. The feel is medium, with a draw out hop bitterness. Excellent stuff.
UPDATED: APR 18, 2015 Bottle, thanks to TimE, 04/16/2015. Pours a deep red amber, dense off-white head with good retention and thick lacing. Aroma of toasted caramel malts, pine bitterness with grapefruit and fruity bouquet in the finish, red fruit and berries. Taste is fruity amber malts blending to citrus, grapefruit hoppy kick with mild pine finish, not overly bitter but well balanced. Light body, almost feels a bit watery at times to fully support what’s going on. Still, pretty nice and easy drinking. willisread (3703) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAR 19, 2015

On tap at Y Market pop-up shop in Shibuya. Hazy chocolate copper color with a modest beige head. Big aromas of pine needle and caramel malts along with some floral hops on the nose. Bitter and sweet on the palate. Nice hop bitterness on the front which melts in a smooth maple syrup/molasses textured sweetness. There’s a little dark fruit present as well as it warms up. Well-balanced. Great smooth and rich finish.
Tap at the Watering Hole. Initially lots of hops, but mellows into light caramel. Easy drinking, light spikiness, spice. Ginger. Good stuff. Little bit sweet. Very nice.

Draught at Craft Beer Festa Kyoto 2014. Hoppy nose, kind of bitter candy, fresh shoe leather. Cloudy brown. Nice rich roast, generous hopping, with the toasty malt make itself apparent at al times. Medium body. Bigger flavors and mouthfeel than a standard amber. More like a red IPA.. Solid. GenkiGonzo (1096) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAY 11, 2014
