Coconut and floral nose with a touch of honey. Taste is sweet and a bit hot and boozy, light honey, some lavender, light cotton candy and pears.

Glass @ Balliceaux. Had been eating spicy food. Milky with a soft yellow tinge- I found it pleasant looking. I got melon on the nose. Sweet with prominent alcohol. Mellowed as I drank it. Nice with the food. First sake in ten-ish years.

Bottle. Milky, slightly yellow color. Fruity aroma with notes of lemon and other citrus and hint of pepper. Creamy, fruity flavor with lemon and orange notes. Hints of salt, pepper, and milk. Warm alcohol in the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Milky white, grassy and heavy yeast. Milky flavor, heavy yeast flavor. The grass is major.

An obviously cloudy white body with a twinge of yellow to it. A mild aroma of rice, yeast and some peach. flavor was slightly similar to aroma, there was a little more of a peach flavor and some mild cucumber to it. Alcohol was a warming sense in the finish, but otherwise well hidden. A nice full mouth feel.

Pours Milky white. Aroma is very fruity with hints of melon, subtle coconut, light tropical fruit. Flavor is very much the same. Medium mouthfeel. I very much enjoyed this one.

porterhouse (1580) - Boothbay, Maine, USA - MAY 23, 2012
(300 ml bottle from Grain and Vine) Served lightly chilled, shaken. Pours weak milky white. Aroma of fruit, rice, alcohol, some yeast. Mouthfeel a bit thin, just barely some graininess. Slightly sticky. Flavor of sweet fruit, rice and alcohol, slight glue. Hot. Pretty mediocre.

Small bottle. Cloudy, chunky white. Coconut milk, sweet, rice, fruit, and a bit of melon. Pretty chunky, and sweet.

obguthr (6931) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - OCT 31, 2011
Coconut and honeydew nose. Milky semen color and clarity, very unappealing. Very sweet initial flavor. Overripe lemons and plums, Finishes with oaty rice, grist, and mold.Sweeter than any sake I’ve had before, but I rather like it. The appearance is vile, however.

BückDich (5477) - McCall, Idaho, USA - APR 24, 2011
Bottle: Pours a cloudy milky consistency, nose is nice and earthy with a snap of sweetness in the mouthfeel. Balanced and clean for a nigori with a pleasing plum taste in the finish. Nice and chewy with a marshmallowy background.
