Draft at beers made by walking. Pours reddish amber with white head. Nose and taste of caramel, malt, spruce tips, pine and sap. Medium body. drjay44 (3893) - Salida, Colorado, USA - AUG 15, 2012
Taster at Brewers Rendezvous. Pours a thin off white head, over a hazy, amber (SRM 10) body.......nose is malts with heavy cedar.....taste is heavy cedar, light malts....mouth feel medium, carbonation low. This is a very different beer. The cedar is very dominant, not unpleasant, but makes for a rather mono-dimensional beer. BJCP 7/3/12/4/6 Ratman197 (15632) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - AUG 9, 2012
On tap at Yak and Yeti poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lasting tan head. Aromas of spruce tips, molasses and light cedar. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of spruce tips, light molasses and light cedar with a smooth lingering spruce finish.
