On tap at the brewpub. A darker amber, with a generous, creamy beige head. Medium hops and medium malts. Pleasant.

On tap at Yaletown Brewing.. not good at all. It has the body feel of a stout .. almost flat yet creamy. Did not finish this one and asked them to take it back ... this was not a good beer

This is quite possibly the worst tasting brown ale ever. A lot of acidic flavours and skunky aromas poped out of my mug, and the waitress said thats how its supposed to be". Its a clearish reddish-brown beer with a creamy tan head. The aroma was more old dirty socks than anything else. The flavour had a lot of acidic malty tones, but too acidic for my liking.

Pint on tap at the brewery pours a nice brown color with a small off-white head which leaves a few spots of lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma is light roasted malts with a hint of nuts. Taste is light roasted bitterness with some caramel malty sweetness and a light hoppy bitterness thrown into the mix. This is a decent brown ale, but there are a few better ones out there.

Pours a copper color with aroma of malt and a hint of sweetness that seems like caramel. Taste of molasses or caramel throughout the beer. Overall a very tasty brown ale.

Dark ruby-nut brown color, good creamy beige head. Aroma has butterscotch, nutty and caramelly notes. Medium-bodied. Smooth palate (nitro?). Nutty, caramelly flavor. Nutty finish with low bitterness. Well-brewed, pleasant although basic brown ale.

Roasty nutty nose. Light caramel sweetness underneath as well some earth. Pours brown, some haze, thin tan head. The flavor is mostly roasty and nutty with hints of underlying caramel sweetness. Finishes dry with an almost interesting sharpness.
