tap. hazy golden with small head. wheat ale, very light on flavor. could really use some of the banana and clove flavors you expect from a hefe.

All the wheat that doesn’t make it the freighters in Vancouver’s harbour gets shipped over to the Yaletown Brewpub. This is an average brew at best. It’s a cloudy gold colour with a nice white head. The aroma is weak - one of the strikes against it (and a general problem I have with Yaletown in general) andone can barely sense the sweet spiciness. The flavour is not bad, very refreshing and goes down easy. There is a nice bitterness in the finish

Nice tastefull wheat beer, but compared to German ones it is just average. A little bit too light...

Very good Bavarian style hefeweizen. Has the full rich flavor, without too much overpowering bubble gum. The banana and clove are much more prevalent. Excellent example of something one would actually drink in Germany. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light Gold cloudy body, (reminds me of loushing absinthe) with a white rocky head. The taste is full of wheat and banana and some baking spices. The mouthfeel is dry. A great wheat beer for a hot day.

Hazy orange-yellow color, small steady white head, some lace. Sweet banana and some clove in the nose. Medium-bodied. Sweet banana wheaty flavor, some esters. Quite standard sweetish hefeweizen.

Banana, clove, lemon, and wheat on the nose. Nice. Pours hazy yellow orange, thin fizzy white head. Flavors of banana and clove up front, wheat, and lemon in the finish. Dry quenching with nice fruity sweetness. Good take on style.

Sampled at Hopapalooza II. Pours a cloudy gold with ample white head. Aroma is dominated by banana, some clove, lemon. Creamy mouthfeel. taste is banana, and citrus, yeast. Dry, crisp finish, slightly herbal. Excellent.

On tap at the Alibi Room at Sloppy Seconds, pours hazy yellow. Aroma of clove, banana and wheat. Flavour is heavy on banana and clove, with wheat, slight orange peel and a citric finish. Quite decent.
