On tap at Popeye’s. Pours a dark near total black color with a medium beige head. A nice light roast nose. Dry, roasty, vanilla, some ashy dark malts. Very nice. Smooth. Flavorful. willisread (3341) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 19, 2016
Keyaki fall 2016. Light chocolate and roasted coffee on the nose. More coffee on the palate. Light bodied, but nice roasty notes. Probabaly their best beer at Keyaki. shoulderbroken (4255) - Tokyo, JAPAN - SEP 19, 2016
Keyaki. Aroma is lightly fruity, dark, roast, light choc, bit of doctor pepper.
Thin but alright. JorgeLee (2116) - Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 18, 2015
Keg at CBM Mitsukoshimae. Black. Very very cold. Roasty and toasty with a bit of coffee in the finish. Nice. KansaiBeerLvrs (5151) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUL 17, 2015
On tap at GJBF Osaka 2015. Dark brown, almost black in the glass with a tan head. Roasty chocolate nose with a med-light body and a dry finish. The taste is a roasty cocoa - pretty solid.

Roasted malt aroma, some cream, dark chocolate, minerals. Straightforrd and nice. Shiny, pitch black with a tall, frothy, tan head. Roasted malt and cafe au lait flavor, burnt wood, dark chocolate, with a tart edge. Slightly salty finish, very burnt. Rather simple and thin, but decent. Their best from this batch. Got a bottle of this from my Japanese in-laws. This stout looks just like a glass of Coke. It’s a pretty run-of-the-mill stout. Pleasant, but totally forgettable. fonefan (49293) - VestJylland, DENMARK - DEC 7, 2009

Clear medium to dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, berry, light chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle, courtesy of faroeviking. A clear, dark brown beer with a beige head. Roasted nose, coffee-like. Dry on the palae with caramel and roasted malts. Dry, roasted finish. An easy drinkable beer, but really boring, I wouldn’t last a night on only this. 090822 faroeviking (10912) - FAROE ISLANDS - SEP 16, 2009
Botella, humid night, came good this brew. Black colour. Quite roasty malty aroma with chocolate. Roasty maltiness, chocolate and dark fruits in flavour.
