very crisp, refreshing taste, goes well with spicy food, very little after taste, provides a relaxing buzz, thoroughly recommended -- ronaldtheriot (1919) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - APR 25, 2013
Yanjing Beer has a thick, white head and a clear, bubbly, golden appearance, with some thin lacing left behind. The aroma is sugary sweet and grainy. Tastse is of the same, with a bit of paper and some light bittering thrown in. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Yanjing Beer finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and easy going. Overall, this is a very good beer, and I am so glad I was able to try it. RJT reebtogi (6240) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 4, 2011
330ml bottle listed at 5%ABV pours a pale golden color with a frothy white head that settles down to very little lace. Aroma is cheap grains and hops. Taste is standard grainy and hoppy macro beer. Somewhat undesirable. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 27, 2013
[5078-20130120] 500mL can. Fruity straw corn aroma. Clear, yellow body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Sweet corn mash flavour has a long sweet light fruity aftertaste. Light body. Fair. (5/3/5/3/10) 2.6

500ml can. Pours a clear, pale yellow with a one finger, white head. Aroma is pleasant with sweet grain and not a lot else. Taste is balanced. Slightly sweet grain, traditional, mild hops, and a short ending. Medium body and carbonation. Clean and refreshing in the mouth. Overall a big name beer from China. Not a lot going on but done well enough.

Pours a light straw colour with a thin head and nice lace. The taste has a bit of grain, light citrus and sweet rice. The beer is above average but not by a lot. I’d have it again, but I wonder how many I could have before the sweetness leaves my tongue stuck to the roof of my mouth. I’d have to clean my palate with an ESB. barncatmatt (2285) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 12, 2011
500ml can from the beer store. straw yellow with a white head. minimal lager malt nose, light hops. flavour is clean but light. passable. jercraigs (10303) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 21, 2013
2013-01-20. Crisp yellow body with a small white head. Mild aroma, light cereally grain. Very light alcohol. Flavour is a bit odd with an almost cidery fruity quality. Average to light bodied palate. Fairly inoffensive considering, but I don’t think I want to let it warm up. Can from LCBO JesseM (1158) - Margaritaville, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 14, 2012
500mL can, likbow. Took me forever to check if I’d had this. Took almost as long to find it in the list of near-identical beers on the brewer’s page. Pours a nice yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is indistinct and lousy, just some garbage malts and adjuncts, with some tin. Flavour is remarkably better, very sweet but also smooth and not harsh on the palate. Off-flavours are present in the finish but are rather minor. On a hot August evening this is actually enjoyable, especially for mass-produced Chinese shite. I probably just ingested any number of horrifying chemical agents, but oh well, such is life in the 21st Century. Raistlin (405) - London, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 5, 2015
Pours bright yellow with nice white head that disperses almost immediately. Very flat. Medium texture. You can taste the hops and malt. No carbonation to speak of at all. Kind of bland.
