Bottle at the brother’s stag. Pours clear reddish brown with a foamy off-white head. Simple stuff but pretty tasty. Some toasty bread, fruits, light berries and soft toffee. Light bodied with fine carbonation and somewhat creamy texture. Sweet finish with minimal hop presence. Easy drinking. 12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market, Charlottesville, VA. Pours a slightly hazy purplish brown color with a thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of chocolate, caramel and nuts. Taste is very similar, but with some bitter hop notes and faint fruits as well. Thin-medium bodied. Decent.
