Great citrus aroma and light amber coloring. Flavors of pine and grapefruit, but maybe missing a little malty balance for my liking. Very solid beer all in all. closey22 (2126) - Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, USA - OCT 20, 2013
Hazy dark gold with thin rimming white head; aroma is slightly sweet with def spicy anise hop notes; flava is rich bitter hops with a spicy sweetness hints of licorice and molasses; feels medium to thick; finishes bitter hoppy nice floral spiciness. Slight hazy gold with dense white head. Nice orange floral hop aroma. Full body and not overly hoppy due to imperial. Another nice brew from Tom and team. Bamsen78 (5617) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 11, 2013
On tap @ Fire Works, Arlington, VA. Pours slightly hazy light amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of citrus and hops with a subtle fruity note. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish fruity and malty notes. Slightly creamy mouthfeel. Bitter finish. A nice thingy. BillKismet (4165) - Seattle, Washington, USA - OCT 10, 2013
Mellow peack-amber body with decent, light, creamy carbonation. A lovely spike of Columbus hops prickle the nose with sweet grapefruit notes. The body showcases sugar grapefruit that languorously winds into a twangy sugar grapefruit finish. Consistent from the first sip to the the last.

12oz bottle from a tasting, Pours a copper color with a creamy thick tan head, aroma of malts and hops. Good lacing on glass. The taste is herbal hops, some fruits, nuts and caramel malts. Medium bodied. Excellent ipa. kramer (6991) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 8, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear dark gold body with a nice frothy white head that left a bit of lacing. The nose is lightly hoppy with some citrus and floral notes. Fairly heavy caramel malt base with some light yeastiness. The flavor is fairly light on the bitterness with a sweet and toasty caramel malt base. Not the most complex of IPA’s, for my tastes the sweetness is just a little too heavy. Medium bodied with a clingy malt stickiness and soft fizzy carbonation. Not a big fan of this one. 12oz bottle. Pours a cloudy orange color with a two finger fluffy white head. Smell of caramel, floral hops, and some grapefruit. Taste is big bready malt base with caramel, sweet red grapefruit, hints of alcohol, and a nicely balancing strong bitterness. Medium bodied, lightly crisp to start, smooth and a bit dry at the finish, prickly moderate carbonation. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - SEP 30, 2013
12oz bottle. Large white head atop clear light amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, orange, light bread. Taste is moderately sweet, pine, grapefruit, some orange, light alcohol. Medium body, some resin, light effervescence. thegreenrooster (4626) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - SEP 25, 2013
Pour is a hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is a decent pine hop resin. Flavor is much of the same. A decent hoppy resin with little or no malt backbone. Finish has a fleeting hop and maybe a little too much water. Maybe a bit thin but it will satisfy a hop crave.
