Belgian esters are the predominant notes in the aroma, with just subdued hop presence. Pours a clear reddish-amber with a full white head. Bubblegum and caramel are there, but there isn’t as big of a hop presence as I would like in an IPA. This falls more on the sweet side with just a touch of earthiness in the finish. callmemickey (4561) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 13, 2014
Amber colored body with a medium sized off-white head and soapy lacing. Malt forward with caramel, toffee, bread followed by orange, pine, and some earthy hop characteristics. Medium to full bodied, semi-sweet throughout with moderate to lively carbonation and mild bitterness. Dorwart (2607) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - JUL 26, 2014
Good sized light beige head of fine bubbles with great retention. Moderate maltiness and hops presence. Caramel, oranges, dried leaves and some tobacco. Color is a hazy orangish brown. Crisp flavor with lots of piney hops, dried orange peel, sweet malts and some parsley. Light alcohol presence and warming. Lingering herbal flavors and light maltiness that is a little on the dry side. A pretty good and pretty well balanced IPA. oOJUXEOo (303) - Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 4, 2014
Yards! Nice beer. Aroma of slight funk and malt. Slight hops in there as well. Taste is not overwhelmingly caramel as many are. Nice malt backbone and Belgian funk. Very nice beer.

Aroma - bready and roasty malt, honey,
Appearance - amber body color; liquid is nearly opaque, with huge amounts of nucleation; the head sets up at about 1/6" of an off-white head
Taste - 1st impression is honey and cracker jack caramel; there is a rich malt almost like a honey wheat bread, not my favorite
Palate - body is light; texture is syrupy; the carbonation is average; finish is sweet and malty, and the slight honey roast hangs on the back of the tongue

Bottle. Pours a clear dark copper body under a one inch frothy beige head that faded slowly and left lots of delicate lacing. The nose is mix of lightly citrusy and floral hops with a light earthiness. The maltiness is a little heavy with caramel and crystal malt, it doesn’t really fit all that well with a Belgian style beer. The flavor is much more malt driven than anything, the hops are very minimally bitter, and the yeast isn’t all that prominent either. There’s a crystal malt instant iced tea like flavor that really lingers on the finish that really prevents me from liking this too much. A little bit of alcohol flavor, but the residual sweetness tempers it pretty well. Medium bodied and a bit clingy with soft carbonation. This one doesn’t do anything for me at all. 22oz bomber shared by Pizz5116. Poured a clear golden amber color with a thin foamy off white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, caramel malt, and old citrus. Taste of bitter grapefruit, old citrus, caramel malt, and lemon zest. Solid jgb9348 (6438) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JAN 12, 2014
Crystal clear amber coloured body with a touch of a copper and ruby tint and a large, thick five centimetre tall tan head - very nice with millions of super small bubbles rising from everywhere. Aroma of alcohol, floral and piney hops, yeast, caster sugar, oak and dry malt and a bit of flowers. Medium to Full-bodied; Deep sweet and resinous hop and tropical fruit flavours at first with a mild lacing of hop bite followed by a good and deep caramel malt finish. Aftertaste has a deep floral and perfumey character, but hard to pin down the sweetness versus hops versus malt - they come out equally, such that defining a style for this one isn’t easy. Overall, a good beer, but nothing great or something that needs to be sampled by everyone! I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 31-November-2013 for US$8.09 sampled at home in Washington on 12-January-2014. dwmiller16 (115) - Delaware, USA - JAN 10, 2014
22 oz bottle. Pours medium amber with a significant amount of foam. Nose is sweet up front but finishes twangy due to Belgian yeast. Smooth mouthfeel and sweetness at first, but finishes with citrus hops notes.

Bottle. Orange amber with a cremay light beige head. Odd sweetness, alcohol, musty citrus hops, belgian yeast and cadied sugars, buckwheat honey. Moderate body and mild carbonation, sweet, so so.
