Black color with a medium sized, tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of coffee, roasted malts, some cocoa. Taste of the same, roasty, burnt wood, dry finish. reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 8, 2015
Pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma is loaded with fresh roasty coffee...perfect coffee aroma. Flavor follows suit but still has nice charred notes and a bit of bitter dark chocolate...subtle pine. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is dry and roasty with lingering fresh and robust coffee. Mahaffeys. Draft. Dark briwn color, beige head. Aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans. Taste is coffee grounds, decent amount, not over the top. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 8, 2014
This poured a darker brown with a small beige head. Aroma was of stale coffee and really nothing else. Flavor showed it even more, stale old coffee with not really much underlying beer character. BillWyce (1134) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 18, 2014
On draught @ Bru. Pours opaque black with a 1-finger dark tan head. Dark roasted coffee aroma with a touch of char to it. Full body, lightly oily with a dry finish. Flavor of dark coffee with a touch of cream and a light grain note in the finish.
