A great session stout. Id love to have it on nitro. Black under a thin, off white head. Very dry, roasted, coffee aroma. I would by no means call this a sweet stout -- there are very low levels of residual sugars. It is an incredibly dry stout. Very nice flavor -- initially coffee moving into roasted barley. Lingering bitterness. Thin palate as a dry stout should have, but over carbonated.

Scents of fig, chocolate, oat, coffee and maple syrup. You taste the chocolate - overall, its very light. The other flavors dont stand out as much as the chocolate. The aftertaste is mild with a light bitterness to it. An easy stout to drink!

Backlog, Pours black from a bottle with a medium beige head. Tasting notes were dark chocolate, brownie, dark malt, coffee, and grain. Medium bodied stout and relatively drinkable at 5.5. Also tried this blended with Fruli strawberry, Canals was calling it a chocolate covered strawberry on the tap station.

Poured from 12 oz. bottle. Opaque, near-black with a 2-finger tan head and good lacing. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted coffee, caramel, roasted malt and a little nuttiness. Taste of caramel, roasted malt, bakers chocolate, roasted coffee and nuts. Medium body and medium/high carbonation. A somewhat sweet, malty and roasty stout with plenty of flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours black into a shaker. Mocha head with excellent retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Soft with dark licorice upfront turning to soy in the lasting finish.

Opaque deep brown with short head. Cocoa, dates, plums, slightly roasted malt on nose. Aroma carries over to flavor with addition of coffee that I didnt catch before, some whole grain crackers. Light body, slick feel, soft carbonation, medium to long finish with slight bittering from coffee and chocolate. Nice solid low abv stout.

On nitro, so lots of head. Slightly sour malt and barley aroma. Dark black body. Extremely smooth and bitter taste, slightly oaky. Creamy mouthfeel. Exactly what a nitro should be. Tap.

A very fine stout. Not an Imperial or double or foreign or any other adjective, just a mighty fine Stout. Creamy head, perfect blend of nice dark coffee and chocolate tastes.
