Not sure what to make of this. Is this supposed to be this sour? Has a lambic nose with hints of Cherry and Rasberry. Some of the dark maltiness comes through as well. Pours dark with a nice tan head. Very malty beer with sourness dominating. Some of the dak malts come through the malty sourness. There is a sweetness component there, but not quite enough. Interesting brew, but not for those who are not into the soured Belgian styles. BBB63 (6557) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - DEC 12, 2003
Murky dark brown hue with very nice tan head and some lace. Aroma is sort of fruity lambic with some sour cherry, wood, dusty yeast and light Belgian candi. A soft yet lively beer with a balanced tart fruit and sweet malt flavor combination, minor yeast undertone. Full-body with a nice mouthfeel. I liked this beer as it pushed the envelope within the genre, try it once. MilkmanDan (1943) - Eagan, Minnesota, USA - DEC 11, 2003
Murky dark, slightly red. Nose a bit musty, some sweetness there. Is sugary and sweet up front, has a fruity sourness. Finishes mildly smoky, some tobacco. A very interesting mix of flavors. PeterA (342) - EL SALVADOR - DEC 10, 2003
Slightly acrid scent, but not unpleasant. Light brown head that was sufficiently thick, the beer itself was a dark caramel color. I tasted apple and maybe some grape, it was nicely bitter. The carbonation was mild and the aftertaste was smooth. This is a unique beer for me, the tartness works very well. hopscotch (11104) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 8, 2003
This beer rocks!
Very dark beer with a murky, burnt orange color when held up to bright light. Creamy, well-tanned head with great retention.
The nose is awesome; a marriage of styles... abbey, dubbel and lambic-like. Tart cherries, citrus fruit and prune.
The flavor is also tart with citrus fruit and very smooth malt. Medium-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Lengthy, tart, tangy, astringent finish. World class ale!

Murky black/brown body with a medium tan head. Aroma is sour with some dark fruit. Flavor is tart cherry and complex. Dry sour body with hints of alcohol. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 6, 2003
Muddy dark brown with medium tan head. Aroma is medium sweet, berry fruity, sour yeasty. Taste is very sour, blueberry, yeasty, light cherry. Full body. Calls itself a cross between a dubbel and trippel, but there's some definite lambic quality to this. wilkie (1208) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - DEC 6, 2003
Nice tan head. Dark brown, hazy hue. Yeasty sour aroma. Very tart, nice slightly sour flavor. Candy flavors. Soft finish. 21iceman40 (1735) - Grafton, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 18, 2003
Light black. Has a funky weird ass bitter aroma to it. Nice weak sour feel to the body. Vac (2445) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 14, 2003
This brew pours with an opaque dark brown body topped by a medium thick head with a good amount of lacing left on the glass. The aroma is slightly sweet yet sour and malty with a slight spiciness. The flavor is slightly bitter and sour with a slight spiciness. Medium bodied and smooth yet dry.
