COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Many Mexican beer styles today are descendants of old Austrian styles, from when Austria ruled Mexico in the late 19th century. Our Dos Perros is made with German Munich malt, English Pale malt, and Chocolate malt, and hopped with Perle and Saaz hops. To lighten the body, as many Mexican brewers do, we add a small portion of flaked maize. The result is a wonderfully bready malt aroma, balanced with some maize sweetness and a noble hop finish.

Bottle Erica brought back for me. A dark clear brown altbier with a thin big bubbled mocha head. In aroma, light sweet nutty malt and dark fruits. Flavors are a light sweet nutty malt with light peated notes, a bit watery.

Very pretty to look at, dark brown with a red hue. The aroma is malt sweet with caramel and bread. The flavor seemed a bit off, kind of a metallic sour taste. A little thin.

bottle. Mahogany brown with one finger head. Chocolate and bready, with a very light sweetness. Mild hop bitterness. Not bad, but doesnt seem like a classic alt either.
