On tap at Yazoo. Hazy red with small off-white head. Aroma is tart cherries, medium body, little carbonation, and some small- bubble lacing. Taste is complex tart cherries. World class Flemish Red.

From notes. Had at a tasting at Abu and Ashley’s on December 15. 22 oz bottle. The pour is a hazy coppery orange with a small egg shell colored head that fades pretty quickly. The aroma is really nice. There is a lot of cherry and wine. A good grape skin and lots of oak bring up the back end. The flavor is much of the same. There is a pretty hefty wine barrel. A decent amount of dark stone fruit and nice winey sourness just rings through. The balance is excellent. The mouth feel is a little light, with a nice bright carbonation and a lingeringly fruity and wine heavy finish. It’s not dry, which is a good thing. This is a pretty decent sour.

Bottle, thanks Jay. Aroma of oak and leather, dark fruit, light tartness, dusty. Acidic prickle. Taste is great, fruity, light sweetness, not so sour but it’s there. Very subtle. Great stuff. Berries.

Bottle shared, thanks Jay. Nice sour cherry candy with pleasant oak notes and a dry finish. The Merlot barrels definitely add some yummy grape notes and complexity to this solid red sour.

Bottle shared. Thanks Jay! Pours a cloudy ruby copper with a small head that dissipates. Huge cherry-forward nose with vanilla and oak notes. Wonderful tannic red wine notes on the palate with more oak. Cherry on the finish with a slight tannic burn. Very nice.
