Pours with an amber orange body topped by a thick head with a good amount of lacing. It’s slightly sweet and malty with nice citrusy hop notes as well as light fruit notes. Medium bodied, smooth and a touch warming. BeerandBlues2 (13642) - Escondido, California, USA - JUL 27, 2009
Bottle. Pours clear amber with an average, frothy, white head, somewhat diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (cookie, meal, caramel), heavy hop (flowers, citrus, pine), average yeast (dough) with notes of pear and green apple. Medium bodied, gritty texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, light sweetness, heavy acidity and bitterness.

Bottle from Sean. Thanks. Pours out a dark orange color with a tan head on it. Smell is full of orange peel and a nice hop smell. Smells kinda like hopslam light. Taste is fruity and very citrusy. Moderate carbonation makes it very drinkable. Smooth, and this really compares to two hearted in my mind. Good stuff, too bad they are limited to 6% because I think they could really brew some outstanding stuff. Sparky (2244) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JUN 17, 2009
Bottle courtesy of BeerHawk – thanks Steve! Pours a cloudy orangish gold with a thick three finger off-white head that results in nice lacing. The nose is sweet citrus and malt. The taste is sweet citrus, grapefruit and resin with a malt backbone. Medium bodied – good IPA. Thanks again Steve! Beerona97 (2399) - Washington, USA - JUN 16, 2009
UPDATED: JUN 3, 2011 Pours hazy amber with a nice beige head. Aroma is pine, grapefruit, honey, and other sweet citrus fruits. Taste is sweet citrus hop with a great hop bite finish. Excellent because the aroma lead me to believe it would be sweeter than bitter but it’s not, also has enough malt backbone to support the bitterness 8 4 8 4 14..... Had on tap as 50 at the brewery. Clear gold, beautiful head retention. Aroma is insanely crisp and fresh, lots of tangerine, orange, pineapple, mango. Taste has more bitterness than the sweet aroma would lead me to believe, quite PNW in taste. Truly a marvelous beer. I want to have massive quantities of this as fresh as possible at all times at my house. 9 4 9 4 18 unclemattie (4358) - Georgia, USA - JUN 8, 2009
