Tasted on draft at the brewpub on 9/1/11. Pours crystal clear amber with an average off-white head that slowly recedes to uneven lace. The nose is hoppy with grapefruit and lemon peel citrus, and some herbal and resin notes. The flavor displays more bread malt than the nose with the same citrus, herbal, and grapefruit from the nose. The body is medium with average but very smooth carbonation and a long resin hops and citrus finish. elgiacomo (745) - Ringgold/Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, USA - OCT 20, 2011

Pours hazy copper with a large tan head that leaves a ton of rings of lacing and holds a small foamy cap.
Aroma is some apricot, along with grapefruit and orange citrus, caramel and bread. Good strength.
Flavor is apricots, oranges and grapefruit, resinous hops, sweet caramel malt in the middle and finishes with nice bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, somewhat creamy with strong carbonation.
Another good Hop Project from Yazoo!
Bottle from Kroger. Pours copper amber with an off white head that diminishes to a wisp. Floral and passion fruit aroma. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Malt backbone is caramel, with some toasty and german malt character hiding in there as well. But for the most part this is all aggressive grapefruit rind and pine bitterness all the way to the finish. Finish is green, resiny, and slightly astringent. A decent IPA, but not as cohesive as I prefer. I really wish they would change up the base beer and yeast strain. davidajensen (206) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 18, 2011
This is a good hop project. You can tell that the hops used were fresh. A nice harvest! It pours much darker than a typical IPA. It is aromatic and flavorful. It has a thick creamy lacing and piney aroma. The hops are a little oily but the finish is pretty clean. Jabic (565) - Plainfield, Vermont, USA - SEP 10, 2011
Ar: Spicy, resiny, pine - very bright herbal and citrus note.
Ap: Very deep amber - clear - big off-white head with very good retention and beautiful lacing.
T: Orange and a sweet tea-like flavor up front - smooth and rich malt character - finish is quite bitter, with grass and pine - tea-like flavor, with some tannin, lingers in finish.
P: Medium bodied with medium carbonation - finish is medium-dry, helped by the bitters.
O: Some nice flavors going on here, very bright and fresh hop flavor - the beer is really quite dark for an IPA (borders on brown ale territory) and the tea-tannin flavor and mouthfeel is a bit too prominent, but overall still nice.
