Sampled on tap at Nashville Flying Saucer. Pours a clear pale amber gold with a tan head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has an earthy must pine note with a hint of musty grain and grapefruit. Flavor has more grapefruit coming through with a hint wet pine and backing earthy grain. gerbewa (253) - - SEP 15, 2012
This beer was actually Hop Project #67 but not listed on rate beer yet. I thought this was a great IPA - great aroma right out of the bottle, poured a deep burnt orange that was quite hazy. Small amount of lightly caramel colored head. Good taste. Citrus, hoppy good IPA! SpringsLicker (3636) - Tennessee, USA - SEP 12, 2012
I’m assuming that this is a subsequent bottling of #66 Bottle dated NA67.10.AUG1. No help on the Blog.
Pours clear gold with a tall sticky white head.
Pine and citrus hop aroma.
Good balanced flavor, bitter with a discernible malt support delivered clean and smooth with a nice bitter finish.

Bottled. Poured clear, medium golden with a creamy beige head. The aroma picked up juicy pine resin and darker citrus notes over biscuity malt.. deeper, almost honeyed malts rose as it warmed up. The flavor found caramel, honey, and biscuity malts at the core with spicy pine and citrus bitterness around.. finished bitter, but with less definable character to it. Medium-bodied and kind of sharp on the palate.. higher carbonation.. just and OK flow. Decent.

Pretty typical for Hop Projects as far as appearance and aroma. This one does have a more pronounced hop flavor, crisp and a bit citrusy, with some resin, as well. Nice black pepper flavor as it warms. nearbeer (5412) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 7, 2012
UPDATED: SEP 20, 2012 12 oz. Stamper was working for the 66 on 01 Jul 12. Darkish, hazy copper with a lasting film of creamy foam. Aroma is earthy resin, citrus, and dark toffee. Flavor is molasses, tea leaf, lightly earthy sour orange, and some dank green resinous herb. Light-medium body is balanced and has light-medium carbonation. jhgrantjr (473) - Tennessee, USA - JUL 30, 2012
UPDATED: AUG 30, 2012 On tap at Central BBQ in Memphis, TN. Amber color with a good head. Not a strong smell of hops, but an immediate bitter taste with a piney aftertaste. It doesn’t have much floral/citrus aroma, which is what I would have expected.

Bottled. One of the unstamped. Best I’ve had in the series. Big caramel presence with tropical fruit. Nice resinous hop flavor, medium bitterness, and a long finish.
