Bottle (in NZ, brought back by a friend). Pleasantly surprised - and now I see why. The NZ hops give a savouriness, when I was expecting the typical citrus and pine sweetness from NZ hops. Damn good.
16 oz draft pours amber with a white head. Aroma of pine, toffee and citrus. Taste is citrus, resin and malts. jzzbassman (1638) - Arlington, Texas, USA - MAR 26, 2013
Bottled. Light color orange with a sticky head. Smells like a very British ESB, lots of caramel. Flavor is more classic IPA with pine resin/earthy up front, finishing with brighter citrus, dry and bitter. AdamChandler (5150) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 24, 2012
Nice glowing orange / red appearance. 3 finger head faded with some nice lacing. Nose is caramel, oranges and pine cones. Taste is soft, hint of pine, mangoes and kiwi. Some orange peels and a bit of brown sugar. jcwattsrugger (12518) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - NOV 18, 2012
12oz bottle-pours white-amber- A-pine/citrus, med malt. T- pine/citrus hops with some bite that lingers, med malt. Suttree (6484) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 12, 2012
Seems lighter orange than previous Hop Projects. Aroma is still pretty earthy, but seems a little more caramel and toffee, as well. Taste is pretty much the same - seems a little lighter than previous HP (which I approve of) and a citrusy hop finish LiMuBai (222) - - OCT 26, 2012
Excellent taste, great hoppy quality. I’m not fond of the color, but that is overruled ny thr great taste. decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - OCT 19, 2012
Lightly hazed orange pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma of resiny hops sweet malt. Flavor matches aroma with a nice bitter finish. Medium body with smooth carbonation. Last beer of a long day in Nashville and a good way to finish. jcr (2737) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - OCT 18, 2012
Draft. Deep amber body. Off-white head, rapidly diminishing. Aroma of resin, raw grain, toffee, citrus. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery turning sticky body, lively carbonation. Balance leans toward resinous, raw hops. Clunky and unclean with husky, chewy grain underneath the hops. hopheadsbrew (142) - Illinois, USA - OCT 5, 2012
Slightly cloudy. Golden amber color. Thick creamy head. Very resinous aroma. Medium low carbonation. Good hop and malt balance. Creamy. Well rounded.
