I’ve been off and on with the Hop Project series, and lately I’ve been fairly indifferent. This one, though, is one of my favorites of the series. Lots of citrusy bitterness, and the earthy maltiness seems muted a bit. Very crisp and easy to drink. decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - MAR 20, 2013
Orange pour with creamy with head and lace. Aroma of citrus hops and nice caramel malt. Sweet maltiness and a nice citrus bitter that lingers. Medium light bodied with smooth carbonation. nearbeer (5606) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 17, 2013
12 oz, bottled Feb-05-13. Clear amber-copper with a lasting half-inch of foam. Nose is spicy and fresh green herb, citrus zest, caramel and some light papaya. Taste is piquant green herb, resin, citrus with the bitter pith, toasted nut, and toffee with faint hints of mango and banana. Near-medium body has light-medium carbonation and finishes with a wooden bitterness. rondphoto (4494) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - APR 24, 2013
I can only presume that this is #70, as it was bottled Jan 2013 and is the only active Hop Project with multiple ratings. Clear medium amber with a good foamy head retention (lasts entire drink) and thick streamers of lace. The taste begins and ends with hop drenched malt. Consistent taste/consistency throughout; very drinkable, especially with food. wedgie9 (2703) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAR 7, 2013
Tasted on draft at the Yazoo tap room on 3/7/13. Pours clear golden orange with a thick and rocky off-white head that leaves a thick and rocky layer of lace. The nose is light caramel and bread malt with a hops aroma that reminds me of drying pine sap and some grapefruit peel. The flavor has a bit more malt presence up front, moving to very intensely bitter pine sap, pine needle, and grapefruit peel. The body is medium with average carbonation and a long, very bitter grapefruit peel and pine finish.

12 oz bottle courtesy of Monte. Thanks. Pours a hazy copper color with a small off white head that slowly recedes to a fine film. The aroma is medium in strength with grapefruit and mangoes. The flavor is bitter hops forward with grapefruit, pine and some light caramel. The palate is full and smooth with lively carbonation. Finishes long and dry with lingering bitter pine. Overall: Some of the bitterness was just a bit harsh on finish, ease up on the magnum guys. That minor quibble aside--this went down easy, another please. Bottle. Poured amber with an off-white head that left light lace. Aroma of toasted malts. The flavor found pine and light toasted malt. Medium body and medium bitterness. RABinCO (1707) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - APR 18, 2013
Bottle. Bottled about 1 1/2 months ago. Pours deep gold with a persistent pillow of white head. Aroma is citrus, grass, light bubblegum. Taste is a nice bitterness up front with citrus, grass, a bit of pine and bubblegum. Very pleasant. bleeng (1691) - Seattle still not near Beersel., Washington, USA - MAR 6, 2013
Draft at Mellow Mushroom Germantown TN. Dark gold and clear with a small white head. Very cold so the nose is a muted hop bitterness. Taste is bitter piney hops with a decent malt balance. Leaves a slight metallic taste on the end. Decent enough.
