Bottle from Rockwell Grill, thanks. Light orange with lasting lacing white foam head. Nice hoppy aroma, likewise good bitter taste. Long lasting bitter aftertaste. A realy good IPA, like it. (Velp 201409)

TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUL 14, 2014
Pours a nice clearish amber color white head. Pine, citrus, and some malt on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with hop bitterness. Very nugget forward.

chinchill (4899) - South Carolina, USA - APR 8, 2014
12 oz. bottle stamped [73 2. 3.] pours clear orange-amber. Moderate sized, very creamy and durable head leaves plenty of lacing clinging to the glass. Aroma: relatively appealing, hop-dominated, but with a clear note of baked bread showing from the malts. Flavor: like the aroma, plenty of hops here along with a solid malt base. Moderately bitter at the peak, which appears in the aftertaste. Complex hop-induced flavors. Feel: medium body; fairly soft, medium carbonation; a touch sharp. O: a fine IPA worth seeking out.

Bottle brought back from TN by my buddy JD. Thanks buddy! Unfortunately, this beer seems like it was past it’s prime. Could not get past a couple whiffs and sips before dumping down the drain.

12 oz bottle. Bottled 03/03/13. (Midtown Wine) Nashville, TN.
Clear amber colour with a small off-white head. Fruity hops. Malty body. Delicious. Moderate bitterness. Fruity hops. Tasty. Smoothy!

Thanks JD! Pours a soft and clean golden amber with one finger of two fingers of dense off white head. Nose is a little...meh. I get some muddled and oxidized papery hop notes. Woody hops and some skunky notes. Flavor is similar. Not sure what happened here. Smells/tastes like age could be a part of it but mostly it just seems ill conceived. Muddled and combative hop character that leans too heavily towards herbal/woody/resinous hops.

I haven’t rated a hop project in a while. This one smells a little spicy. It has a thin but sticky head that leaves a lot of lacing. The oiliness of the hops lingers in your mouth, but not in a bad way. Pretty sessionable!
