Cloudy light yellow. Corriander on the nose. Mild and slightly sweet with a tart finish. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 25, 2012
Bottled. Poured hazy medium orange with a sticky off-white head. The aroma picked up jammy darker fruits and honey with rye and sour barrel-ly accents. The flavor found warm honey and chewy rye bread at the core.. black pepper and rye plus sour fruit skins around.. finished sticky with sour skins and spicy rye. Medium-bodies and a bit too sour on the palate.. just ok. rangerred (989) - Johnson City, Tennessee, USA - JUN 6, 2012
12oz bottle into a pint glass.
A very careful pour yields a huge 4 finger billowy head. Body is slightly hazy and dark gold. Tons of carbonation bubble rising up.
The nose is very yeasty and has some peaches and lemon. A touch of barnyard funk but it is very faint.
The taste is very fruity with peaches, apples, lemon, and orange. There is a little syrupy sweetness on the tip of the tongue that is a little distracting. The taste becomes drying as it progresses but there is still that little bit of residual sweetness left.
I like very dry saisons and this one is just a little too sweet. The flavors are decent but overall feel is off. Anyhow, it is a pretty good thirst quencher and a refreshing beer.

Pours with a cloudy, golden body topped by a medium thick head with a good amount of lacing. It’s sour with a hintof sweetness, a little rye and some mustiness. Light to medium bodied, highly carbonated and dry DrinkEmUpJones (1069) - Georgia, USA - APR 7, 2012
Cloudy yellow orange. Medium nose is orange and tangerine, with a light hint of rye. Palate is more hefe than rye, but there is definitely a rye presence which adds a nice bite into an otherwise creamy palate. Very good

Received from Lou (muchas gracias!!). A really well made saison that seemed to hit nearly every note that I enjoy in a saison. The nose was a little reminiscint of a hefeweizen with lots of banana and clove in the aroma. But after awhile, that kind of goes away and some honey/apple juice notes with a light funky character...almost like green apples. Flavor had some strong notes of apples, honey, and citrus. Medium sweetness kind of keeps this from higher ratings territory. I do enjoy a really dry saison, but this was nice.
This one pours deep golden with nice white head sporting large bubbles. Nose is full of sourish qualities and clove and peppery spice yeast. Also some sweet malts in the nose as well. Flavor is spices and some fruity esters with some oxidized sweet malt flavors and a nice dry finish. Mouthfeel is light and fizzy but somehow almost full bodied. Medium light bitterness. Pretty good but somehow lacking in overall yeast flavors. BelgianBeerGal (4066) - Panama City, Florida, USA - AUG 19, 2011
Bottle with a little age on it...still fine though. Nice clear copper color with a small white head. Tart aroma with a hint of rye. Taste also hints at some sourness but definitely a saison base. Pretty tasty. edgallow (4211) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 6, 2011
Orange brown color with a creamy head. Sweet smell and a slight bananna taste. It was a good beer Chickencoop (188) - California, USA - JUL 31, 2011
Big amber pour, lightly chunky head. Big yeasty nose, spicy. Big mouthfeel, and big citrus. Didn;t get much of the rye, but still a solid beer. I would love to get one of these again.
