500ml can from Ken Warne, Darlington. Golden colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of juicy apple flavour. Taste is apple, sugar sweetener, some tartness and cardboardy notes. Light bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry finish with residual sweetness. OK.

alexmate (337) - South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 2, 2017
Unappealing amber colour with medium carbonation. Very little aroma with apples and a boozy chemical smell. Taste is of a golden, almost cooking apple, think Russet apple mingled with sweet caramel and Christmas pudding-type steamed fruit and maybe a bit of Calvados. Aftertaste is of wheat, yeasty flour and a mouth coating dryness. It’s OK. Price Paid: Free sample.

Can. Gold, 2 seconds of foam then no head, moderate condition. Muted apple sweetness in the nose, some slight oaky woodiness in the mouth but a little oily and slightly citric, finish is brief and slightly spirity with a touch of apple skin bitterness lingering.

500ml can @22-04-2014.
In short: a sweet apple beverage.
Pours clear, bright gold, with vanishing white head. Short head retention, no lacing. Apple, syrup, sweet aromas. Light body, high carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is too sweet, some artificial flavours in there. Tartness is almost missing. Poor.
