COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This India Pale Ale (IPA) is an aggressive wee beast that is dedicated to our friend Joseph Wood of Liberty Brewing and to all those hopheads who love drinking IPA day in, day out. Just as the term digital is all about zeroes and ones, the concept of IPA is all about malts and hops. Enjoy the rich golden malt backbone of Digital while you can... then feel it closing in as the fruity Motueka-grown hops dominate your palate and don’t ever fade away. IPA as it should be. Bottle. Thin white head which quickly dissipates. Amber body with a slight haze. Grapefruit, alcohol, tangerines. Some minerals and yeast towards the end. Bittersweet. Dry finish. Good, but nothing special and not enough going on to make me buy this again.

Bottle from M&S. The label describes this as "aggressive". Eh? Timid more like. Although there is a head, it tastes completely flat, like it had been opened last week. Bland and disappointing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0.33l can. This one pours a really good orangey cloudy looking body with a big lasting and lacing white head on the top. Peachy and piney, lots of grapefruit both bitter and fruitiness. Well hopped fo sure. Smell really good, surprisingly fresh for a new Zealand imported beer. Mellow and lightdrinkable in the taste. Soft zesty bitter. A little mealy. It has a mild oily texture in the mouth and it’s about average on the carbonation. Orange peel, some malty sweetness quite a lightdrinkable and not too complicated IPA. Liked it 26.05.2017

33cl Can at Kooltuintje. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of fruit cocktail, citrus, sweat, light herbal, passion fruit. Flavour is light to medium sweet, fruity, lychee, sweat, passion fruit, biting hop bitterness from the NZ hop I’m not particularly fond of. Light bodied.
