3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Beery and bitter aroma, hints of tannic tea and orange peel. Glowing burnt orange in colour, oily white head. In the mouth there’s some odd things going on - the tea is a strong flavour, but there’s this soapiness that I can’t quite get my head around. It’s very astringent and tannic on the after taste. I honestly don’t know how I feel about this beer. I’m not a fan of tea, and so for me the tea-like characteristics of this characterful brew are not necessarily a positive. But that said, it does what it says on the bottle - it’s explosive and leafy, full of orange flavoured tea and citrusy hops. Personally, I find it most enjoyable when drunken on a very hot day. An alcoholic ice tea!

In short: citrusy spicy IPA.
DId I enjoy it: why not?.
Pours little hazy golden yellow-ish with frothy white head. Moderate head retention, little lacing. Intense citrusy nose, lemon zest. Medium body, average carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is quite citrusy, moderate bitter, little dry. Peculiar.

Pours a straw colour with a thin, white head. The aroma is extremely floral and sweet. The taste in malt up-front then a slight bitterness and sweetness at the same time that is medium-lasting on the palate. Overall, an interesting beer and well worth trying. I was quite surprised to find this at my local liquor store in Misawa Japan. Clear medium golden color with a light beige head. Floral hops and sweet malts with caramel and tea. Has a very sweet floral front, apricot and rose petals with a good bitter floral hop middle and lingering bitter follow. A very unique, interesting and quite tasty beer. I wish I could get this on a regular basis. sephyrott (204) - - AUG 24, 2017
33cl can at Drayton Court. Eccentric beer, with really aroma to earl grey. Hoppy and slightly sweet. PietS (370) - Bergen op Zoom, NETHERLANDS - AUG 9, 2017
Sweet (malts and tropical fruit), spicy (some clove and maybe cinnamon?), hoppy, grassy, medium bitter. The tea flavour is not very prominent (luckily), you only taste is when you know it I think. Good, quite sweet, and not too bitter IPA.
