Beery and bitter aroma, hints of tannic tea and orange peel. Glowing burnt orange in colour, oily white head. In the mouth theres some odd things going on - the tea is a strong flavour, but theres this soapiness that I cant quite get my head around. Its very astringent and tannic on the after taste. I honestly dont know how I feel about this beer. Im not a fan of tea, and so for me the tea-like characteristics of this characterful brew are not necessarily a positive. But that said, it does what it says on the bottle - its explosive and leafy, full of orange flavoured tea and citrusy hops. Personally, I find it most enjoyable when drunken on a very hot day. An alcoholic ice tea!

Keg at The Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Hazy gold with slim white head. Quite a sharp and crisp beer from the off, there is lemon, orange zestiness along with a perfumed odd character that I now know to be Early Grey Tea, I should have realised from the name. The perfumed note lingers a while on the palate, yes its tea, but also quite grassy. Very pleasant.

Pours golden with a small head. Lemon and rind on the nose. Citrus flavours give way to a pronounced tea element that lingers. Different but good.

330ml bottle shared with Finn at Mad Bishop and Bear. Steady pearl white head leaving crocheted lacing down the glass. Hazy golden body. Mild aroma of floral hops. Tea-like hoppy flavours, some grass and grain, lightly spiced. Bittersweet rounded finish. Medium bodied. Drinks pretty well. (Paddington, London 26.04.2017).

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy gold-orange with minimal head. Aroma: citrus notes including grapefruit, lemon and orange peel. Mild herbal notes. Taste: citrus and melon flavours hit the palate first, followed by a lingering bitterness and floral flavours. The tea leaf flavours linger on the palate, but dominate the aftertaste chiefly. Mild carbonation, and a bit flat. High marks for originality and creativity. The flavour balance works much better than I expected it would, but couldnt drink more than one of these in a session.
