COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The second of two results from a Yeastie Boys’ shareholder blending sessions in September 2016. We’ve blended a fresh young dark ale with a combination of wine barrel-aged vintage ales (three year old wild PKB and two-year old Cherry Ghost).

75 cl bottle. Pours dark brown to black, deep amber. Small tan head. Aroma is roasted, fruity and dark malty. Bitter, roasted. Dark malty. Breadish and roasted dark malty. Dry and roasted finish.

Sampled @ 10th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg, Day 1. Red-brown to brown color, full sized rough, rocky, beige head that lasts for a long time. Smell and taste malts, a bit earthy, brown malts, burnt malts slightly in the background, slight tart, quite dry. Average to decent body and carbonation. Meh.

A clear reddish brown beer with a huge good lasting beige head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, chocolate, some red fruits. Taste of sweet chocolate, dark mild roasted malt, toffee, some liquorice, nice!

Bottle, 7%. Clear dark brown with big beige head. Aroma is malt, fruit, dark fruit, little roasted malt, yeast and barrel. Flavour is malt, caramel, little toasted malt, chocolate, caramel, yeast, barrel, medium sweet, warming and a little bitter.

Bottle @ TTOD(U)RBSG17. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of nutty, slight yeast, caramel, light choko, slight roasty, wooden. Taste is rather sweet, loads of nuts, a bit earthy, coffee.

Bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering. Huge creamy head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, licorice, hops and has a nice bitter finish.

I’m not sure this is the beer. Keg at the King’s Arms. A clear chestnut brown coloured pour with a lasting frothy beige head. Aroma is faint roast, woody nutty malts, forest fruits, Juniper, pine. Flavour is composed of semi sweet nutty malts, little treacle, liquorice,, woody roast, little bubble gum. Palate is medium bodied, frothy carbonation, little creamy. Good. Lingering mellow roast and herbal notes.
