COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The second of two results from a Yeastie Boys’ shareholder blending sessions in September 2016. We’ve blended a fresh young dark ale with a combination of wine barrel-aged vintage ales (three year old wild PKB and two-year old Cherry Ghost).

Spodziewałem się czegoś mniej stoutowego. A jest własnie stoutowo, czekoladowo, z lekką owocowością w wiśniowym typie gdzieś w tle. Czekolada deserowa, kawa popiół, wytrawne ze słodkawym, owocowym posmakiem. Beczka nie dała tu wiele. Bretty nadały owocowość i wytrawny charakter. Całośc złożona, pijalna i smaczna. No ale pijało się lepsze wy tym stylu.

2016 edition.
In short: wood aged dark ale.
Did I enjoy it: it was peculiar.
Pours hazy dar vopper with really frothy off white head. Long head retention, some irregular lacing. Wood, vinous aromas, roasty, licorice. nuts. Medium body, average carbonation, slick texture. Taste is malt forward, licorice, roasty, nuts, some wood and vinous touch. Warming palate, some high alcohols. Peculiar.

750ml bottle. Pours a deep black with light caramel head. Rich nose with sweet malt notes. Medium body with a distinct sweet front which has toasted notes. It has a mild carbonation which feels champagne like.

Restrained malty aroma in a thin black pour. Similarly malty body with just a hint of wood in the finish. An interesting take on the style.
