COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tropical fruit and citrus hop notes shine when paired with the sweetness of the Crystal malts used in this IPA. With a 7.0% ABV and a moderate IBU, this IPA is ready to take out on the waters for a day of drinking. “Aye aye, captain!”

Sample at Daily Growler UA. Slightly hazy orange-amber color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. The aroma consists of tropical fruit, grassy hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of melon, citrusy hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering fruity hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Tap @ Pies & Pints: Clear gold with sticky lacing. Light juniper hop aroma. Full body with tangerine hop flavors. Hoppy wheat finish. YUM!

Appearance: Medium brassy amber. Hazy. Finger of tiny white bubbles. Nose: Bitter with citrus hops but also a solid malt backbone. Grainy and herbal Taste: Initally a bit of sweet citrus, fading into some bittersweet hops and finished up with some grainy malts. Body: medium and lively Parting thoughts: A decently blended beer. different from the “nothing but hops” IPAs that are typical now.

Crooked Handle, Springboro, OH. Very slightly musty aroma. Cloudy and golden color, quickly fading lacing. Slightly sweet grapefruit. Kinda mild. Very good. A teensy medicine. Overall, I like it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

As an IPA, I think this is a decent beer. It has a strong hop bite that cuts the citrus flavor. Ironically, the flavor profile became more agreeable as it warmed (I tend to drink slowly). Amber in color and slightly cloudy with a strong aroma that is almost off putting. Worth a try if one likes IPAs. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(En fût à la source): Juteuses et collantes tangerines accompagnées de sous-notes de pamplemousses roses. Cohérent et équilibré jusque dans l'amertume.

Pours a cloudy, amber color with an off-white head. Strong citrus aroma all the way blended nicely with the caramel malts. Very well blended on the flavor as well. Hoppy and bitter but not overly done with plenty of malt character to back it up.

Pungent. Citrus. Fresh. Great, no gimmick IPA. Wonderfully hoppy aromatics and flavors of grapefruit, orange, pineapple, passion fruit, and pine. Cloudy pale bronze color with a lasting offwhite head. Medium to medium-full body, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Alcohol is hidden. Great looking can design. Best new IPA and beer that I've had in a really long time.
