Aroma is smoked caramel.

GABF 2013. Porter brown body with a caramel colored head. Black malt char, woody soot, beef burnt ends, charcoal, cara malt, minerals, bread. Rich, savory, sticky cola malt, lightly husky, lightly sweet. Honey glazed ham in a brown porter.

Draft. Poured dark brown with an average light brown frothy head that was mostly lasting with very good lacing. Moderate to heavy smoke and toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium toasted sweet malt and smoke flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Complex good beer.
