COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The perfect summer sour. Our house Berliner Weisse recipe (soured with our, continuously evolving, barrel stored lactobacillus culture) conditioned on a small tropical islands worth of passionfruit. Expect a lovely fruity aroma, more fruit on the tongue, and even more fruit on the finish all rounded with a gentle acidity from the souring process.

Can, Carry Out Wexford. Yellowish hazy beer, white foam. Huge passion fruit aromas and taste, with a nice mouth puckering tartness coming through. Highly refreshing.

Can at the old dears, from Callans, 09/07/17. Very light haze on a golden pour with a decent off white head that dissipates to spotting in due course. Nose carries pissy green berry notes, light floral notes, funk, passionfruit evident, citric sherbets, stewed rhubarb. Taste comprises pissy citric shreds, light funky brett notes, vanilla, passionfruit, lemon tinged straw, light spice, grains. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, drying close with a mello acidic bite and accompanying pucker. Solid refreshing sour ... top draw for the ABV.

In short: tart fruity ale.
Did I enjoy it: yes.br> Pours little hazy amber with fast vanishing white head, no lacing. Tart nose, passionfruit, mango aromas. Light bodied, average to high carbonation, thin texture. Taste is moderate tart, fruity, tropical, quite dry finish. Refreshing and enjoyable.

Tap at Brewdog. Irish passion fruit berliner? Yeah, I’m all over that. Has that overboard frozen can of puree feel. It is really tasty, just leans into the puree aspect a little hard. Suitable enough for the style I suppose, in line with a lot of other solid offerings out there. OK.

Keg, Brewdog Leicester. Hazy golden with a thin head. Woody and tart with mango and lemon. Lots of passion fruit. Peachy notes. White grape. Good balance of tropical sweetness and woody tartness. Lightly funky. Clean on the palate. Refreshing. Dry, spicy finish. Good sour.

Bottle shared by Beersiveknown @ tasting at his place. Huge thanks Steve! Hazy pale yellow color, small to average sized white head. Aroma and flavor both are a very nice mix of pleasant sourness and sourish fruity influences. Pleasant soft carbonation adds to superb drinkability. Very nice.

Bottle from O’Brien’s, Athlone [260616]
Ligth amber soft haze, frothy white head
Aroma - Huge passion fruit juice, some grapefruit
Taste of sweet fruity passion fruit, grapefruit, sweet fruity alcopop, sour
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, haribo sweet acidity. Finish of citric acid, big passion fruit, getting some cereal in the tail, a bit too acidic
Overall - Nice, huge fruits, but not complex - I do tire of these beers very quickly
