Yellow Hammer’s original flagship beer, this Belgian-style wheat ale is brewed in the typical European tradition. But instead of adding more traditional ingredients of orange peel and coriander this wheat beer is brewed with kaffir lime leaves and fresh ginger and a hint of chamomille. Exellent brew if I do say so myself. Roll Tide! ronaldtheriot (2020) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - NOV 30, 2016
Yellowhammer Belgian White Ale has a thick, slightly off-white head of foam, a hazy, fiercely-bubbly appearance, and little lacing left behind. With the "swish & pour" it becomes milky. Aroma is of the chamomile, lime leaves, and ginger, with a white wheat bread background. Taste is of all that, with very low-level bitterness. Mouthfeel is fluffy and medium, and Yellowhammer Belgian White Ale finishes on the dry and drinkable side. RJT aracauna (3707) - Georgia, USA - JUN 13, 2016
Very cloudy pale yellow. Nice bright citrus and coriander aroma. Thin wheat flavor. Refreshing Suttree (6541) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 1, 2016
Hazy dirty golden yellow, loose white foam. Smells citrusy orange, with lemon and some herbal notes like maybe coriander and I don’t know, sage? Taste is citrusy lemon, orange, coriander, rosemary. Not bad. wombat23 (2147) - Texas, USA - APR 26, 2016
Draft at the source. Pour is cloudy and straw-colored with a white head. Nose is wheat, citrus, spices, and yeast. Flavor is citrus, yeast, bubblegum, and spices with ginger notes. Light-bodied with medium to high carbonation. Not bad.

Bottle. Cloudy, gold in color. Small head. Aroma like a weak Belgian witbier. Taste is coriander, orange peel. Just average. ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - MAR 16, 2016
Poured from the tap at the brewery into a tulip glass. A cloudy yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is full of lemons. The taste is slightly sour and very smooth.

12 oz. pours out a foggy straw color with a thin disc of beady bubbles. Nose of honey, wheat and citrus with some earthy spiciness and faint funk. Flavors of vanilla, honey and lime with a touch of wheat are unexpected and flavorful, but a little too rich for this light bodied brew. Almost a nutty note on the long finish. High carbonation is probably a necessity in this one, but it flares up annoyingly at times. Not bad, but no way I could drink two. Iphonephan (7475) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - DEC 8, 2015
From a 12 oz bottle shared at home. Pours a clear pale gold with a white head. Bubblegum nose. Flavors of cinnamon and toffee. Niko100 (3012) - Chicago, New York, USA - SEP 12, 2015
