Honey coloration, fruity, sweet and fruity, leaves a good after taste. I liked this one a lot ads135 (4923) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - DEC 27, 2013
This is a surprisingly good fruity hefe. Comparable to some of the better raspberry weizens but with a slightly more tart sweetness. Picked this up in Sheridan, WY in 2013. nuplastikk (6414) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 22, 2009
12oz bottle. Murky orange-brown color. Sweet berry aroma, potentially artificial but quite pleasant nonetheless. Juicy, tangy citrus hits you right off the bat, and dominates the beer throughout. Tart and refreshing, I sort of like this beer. The huckleberry taste is not unlike tart raspberry, with more of a lemony kick. Light honey touch in the finish. I could drink this stuff all day. UPDATED: NOV 16, 2007 Re-rate - (11/16/07) picked up a single 12-oz bottle from the brewery in Billings, Montana. Pours a semi-clear golden blond brew with a creamy white head that dissolves slowly to a film top and white ring. Some spotty lacing but quite thick in the glass. Aroma of light white bread with a soothing huckleberry scent. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated, with a mild tart huckleberry, wheat and a touch flowery hops. Finish is smooth, light with a distinct huckleberry aftertaste. I have had several huckleberry fruit beers in Montana over the past year. This is one of the best huckleberry flavored beverages.

Somewhat clear stoplight yellow color, the body is unique as its solid but not hazy or clouded, nor is it chill hazed, but its not clear neither. Very thin white cap quickly whisps away to leave a thread thin collar, very little to no lacing to it. Aroma is nice, reminds me of some dopplebocks or belgians with a sweet toffee, mango, caramel, molasses tang with nice inlays of honey, berries, and dullish lemon candies. Flavors are inticing, but underdone and a bit lazy. Sweet and tangy with a malty strong hold of chewy honey and caramel sticks laced in powdered sugar and lemon drops. A smalll zip of hops and carbonation in the middle, finishes with malty residue, kinda bready with a light wheat aspect but seemingly more candyish with a certain tang of molasses. Feel is about medium, short though, sticky, nearing cloying, but favorably clean and relentless with a malty profile. Very fufilling little drinker. Although I think this ain’t no hefe, this is either a fruit beer or wheat beer, or a mix of those two, but in doesn’t come across as any hefe I’ve had. It’s kinda like Gumballhead’s little brother or perhaps a cousin. Whatever...Its good no matter what you call it.

Bottle: Poured with one of the biggest heads I’ve ever seen ... at first pour, 100% of the glass was tightly-packed foam. After about 4 minutes, it finally settled into a airy topcover of a bright hazy body. The aroma gave off a light sense of wildberry. Smooth on the palate, this was primarily sweet, almost candy-tart. This is almost like a raspberry lemonade with 5% alcohol. Pretty good if you want a fruity one. Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - NOV 1, 2008
Bottle courtesy of kyzr. Pours a hazy amber with a thin white head. Smells fruity with a wheat backbone. Tastes tarte and of berries with a nice jam like finish. scooterbub (1067) - Lander, Wyoming, USA - JUN 9, 2010
12 ounce bottle. Pours a cloudy golden-brown with a decent white head that lasts. Taste is of wheat, floral, fruit, cherries, raspberries, blueberries and huckleberries. Is a little tart and a bit sour in the finish. Has a similar aroma that is very nice and rather prominent. The body is a little slick and a bit creamy. Very easy to drink and enjoyable. Well worth picking up again. DuffMan (10602) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 28, 2011
Bottle. Cloudy straw yellow, lively white head. sweaty wheat aroma with sourish undertones, tart wheat flavour with unsweetened berry fruit and a sour-tart finish, very dry; an outstanding fruit beer that captures a profile the straddles a traditional Belgian wit (not American) and a sour ale. Unexpectedly nice! Sledutah (7790) - Utah, USA - OCT 15, 2014
Bottle shared by Gene, thanks
