Cask ale, half pint at Teign Cellars. Low beige head, dotted spots on the glass. Clear amber coloured body. Smell of forest and mellow fruits. Taste of caramel malts, some impact of dried fruits. Restrained drying bitter endnotes. On par with the style, more or less (Newton Abbot, 27.09.2016). kermis (13723) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - DEC 24, 2015

Hand pull, The Felix, Nuneaton, 17/11/15. Bright foamed coppery red wafting with gentle stone fruit, minerals, caramel on slate. Decent BSBB with a light seawater-mineral touch, stone and caramel, toasted cereals and hazelnut. Curtained with condition. Dull but pleasant.

Cask at the Assembly Rooms, Solihull. Poured a crystal clear copper colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is light yeast, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light metallic, floral hop palate and a rather unpleasant plastic like finish. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at The Water House (JDW), £2.05/pint.
Copper-brown coloured beer with a foamy, off-white head. Slightly sickly caramel and light roast aroma. Light, slightly metallic, slightly chemical flavour with some caramel malts and a decent dry finish. Pretty run of the mill stuff. Travlr (25219) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - SEP 22, 2015
Cask at Wagon Works in Eastleigh. Clear golden amber color. Aroma of lightly peppered toast. Taste is burnt caramel. Towey1989 (2923) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 22, 2015
Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A clear pale amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of red berries, some nutty malt, slight biscuit and subtle orange. Taste of red berries, nuts, subtle chocolate, slight caramel, orange and some spicy hops. Light bodied but a watery texture. A dry, nutty, spicy hop bitterness in the finish. Looked and smelled below average so wasn’t looking forward to it but it’s really well balanced with a decent hop profile. Little thin and inconsistent to be good though.
