Gravity at Just Ales, Wells. A very quaffable and acceptable old fashioned beer - good balance. It’s what you’d expect a best bitter to be. Grumbo (4296) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - MAR 7, 2017
Cask at Hamilton Hall, Liverpool St, London. Pours amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of malt, hop, fruit. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Finish has lasting bitterness. Quite a decent bitter this. AshtonMcCobb (7049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 24, 2017
On cask at the Caley Picture House.
Appearance - golden amber with a nice lacy head.
Nose - oranges, toffee and malt.
Taste - more orange and toffee biscuits.
Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry tangy finish.
Overall - this is a touch gnarly but it does have extra depths of complexity. mike_77 (7275) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - FEB 18, 2017

Cask at the The Counting House, Glasgow. Pours amber orange with off-white head. Caramel, toffee, fruit, some hops and bitterish finish. Not bad. ForlornHope (547) - Hampshire, ENGLAND - FEB 20, 2015
Bottle at home into a pint glass. Pours a clear red-brown colour with a pillowy white head; quite effervescent. Interesting aroma of biscuit malt and rich hop. Floral and spicy. Taste is more biscuit malt, sweet and almost crunchy with a medium bitterness. Dry finish, with more leafy hop and herbal bitterness. Overall, a really nice beer. Interesting, loads of flavours and would definitely have another. After some so-so to awful beers lately I really appreciate this. Giochaurand (533) - FINLAND - NOV 6, 2014
