acorn, lichfield. Dark copper beer with medium head. Aroma of malts. Taste is malty, some plum and caramel. Ok beer.
Cask at City Arms. Pours clear amber with a small, bubbly off-white head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is toast and cookie malt with earthy hops and light dates. Clear medium amber orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, straw, toasted - caramel, light to moderate hoppy, fruity, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. 
UPDATED: MAR 26, 2014 B Cask, Cabot Hotel, Weston Super Mare. Copper with a thin foam. Aromas are toffee and Weetabix with nutty, spicy notes and mellow berries. Dark treacle with autumn fruit and some leafiness. Flavours are malty with earthy, spices and some nuttiness. Lightly fruity with a dry, leafy autumnal finish. Nice. Prev rating Bottle. Copper brown with an off white bubbly foam. Aromas are toffee and yeast with Weetabix and some nuttiness. Background lemon with bready cookie dough.
