Cask from the barrel. Aroma coffee dark malts and cereal. Pours black to brown with just a circle of lace to mark the top. Taste has mild licoric with dark fruit and toffee finish. It could grow in my estimation.

Cask at Bag O Nails, Bristol. It pours black with a small, bubbly off-white head. The nose is bitter - sweet, plum, prune, fruit compote, jam, Dandelion & Burdock and candy. The taste is smooth, rich roast, toast, earth, bitter - sweet, cocoa, plum, prune, date and some jam with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A touch sweet, but overall Pretty good
