Brentv (672) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 1, 2014
Pour from a can in Narita, Japan. Clear honey colored with a white head. Nice lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma of pine and citrus. Taste is pine citrus, relatively dry, slightly bitter. Good carbonation. Medium mouthfeel. Bitter finish.

330ml can. Hazy amber color. Medium size, off-white head, stays. Fruity, citrus, hops, bit metallic notes in aroma. Juicy, strong blackberries, hops, fruity taste. Alcohol is there, but can’t really taste it more like feel it. Nice one.

martjoobolut (4224) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 19, 2014
0,35L can, BB 20.04.2014. Pours clear golden-amber with nice white head. The head stays for some moments. The aroma is rather weak sourness, pine, and fruits. Taste: is malt, caramel, sweet, pine, slightly metallic, and sour. Finish has some lingering grapefruit bitter kick and alcohol burn with some interesting sour notes. Overall: goes down rather well, but not really exciting.

350 ml. can. Clear golden with a lasting spit of bubbles. Aroma is honey and resin. Tastes of maize, honey and resin. Light body is balanced and has a high level of carbonation that is smoothly drinkable. Not a hint of the 7%.

thirstyrabbit (1849) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 15, 2014
Can. Clear golden body with a medium head. Aroma has caramel and faint hops. Mainly sweet caramelly taste and not so much citric fruitiness. Dry sugary finish with herbal hops. Drinkable, but a bit one-sided.

suurjuust (3504) - ESTONIA - FEB 14, 2014
Slightly hazy golden amber, white head. Hopy-piney nose, malts and sweetness in the background. Taste is hops, slight malt, grapefruit notes. Finish is dry, piney bitter hoppy. Lingering bitterness so herbal-piney that it becomes almost medicinal. Medium body, oily texture, medium carbonation.

GenkiGonzo (1091) - Kyoto, JAPAN - FEB 10, 2014
UPDATED: FEB 21, 2014 Can from Yamaya. Clear golden colour, small white head. Aroma has lots of hops, with fruit and pine. Same with the flavour, some reisin and a bitter finish. Fantastic for the price!

7% Can on sale at Lawson’s 20 yen off so just 260 yen! A great deal for Japan. This beer has the classic clear copper-gold color I like in an IPA. Served in my Mikkeller 0.2L wine type glass. Nice solid hop bouquet that goes back & forth between tropical fruits & pine/resin notes-quite good. Full slick mouthfeel with a sharp bitter hop bite, slightly puckering in the mouth. My overall feel is kind of a bitter pith or rind kind of taste, citrusy pith lingers in the aftertaste. Pretty good.

Copey13 (2) - Yonago City, JAPAN - JAN 26, 2014 does not count
There is a refreshing citrus-based fruity taste to this ipa. The hoppy aftertaste is strong, resulting in an almost bitter/sour flavour that lingers on the tongue. I really like this ale, but my choices are limited due to living in a small town in Japan.

BeerdedDave (1662) - Beckley, USA - JAN 24, 2014
cloudy gold color with lots of yeast sediment; grassy hops and fruity malt aroma; grassy hops on a dry, slightly fruity malt base with caramel notes
