Light gold with a decent white head. Orange, malt and a little grass aroma. Taste is malt, citrus, good amount of bitterness. Not great, not bad

Bue en cannette au Japon. Arôme pamplemousse/Agrumes. En bouche très amère. Final citronné/pamplemousse, amère avec bonne longueur et amertume dégressive. Bon équilibre entre douceur/amertume/acidité.

Can. Pours medium light pale ale with a thin white foam subsiding to a thin rim. Scent is fairly standard early hops of simcoe/citra. Some other scents of maybe light unclean water. Light dirt. Taste is dense IPA with flavors and mouthfeel of hop grains. Grassy. Manages to be a great beer.

Hazy yellow, nice head, honey aroma, dirty water, a bit of hops, orange, flavor of orange, orange candy, caramel, roasted, medium bodied.

Draught at the beer works Akasaka. Had this a few years ago in can and it rocked. On draught it’s sofet, but still full of hops, citrus, floral nores. It doesn’t quite knock it out of the park, and it fades a bit, but it’s a good solid full strength IPA.

Can at my parents. Tropical fruit and citrus notes. Dry bitter finish. Refreshing. Medium carbonation. Not bad.

An ok IPA overpriced at $5.99 in the states. Grassy herbal pine aroma. Flavor is balanced with sweet and bready malts.

Ritzn (1654) - GERMANY - AUG 17, 2016
Clear amber/copper with little beige head. Aroma is apricots and lots of hoppy grassy stuff. Only some resin. Taste is fruity sweet with some resiny bitterness. Good mouthfeel. Heavier than water but not oily/undrinkable. Medium/full body. Some fusels though. More of resin in the finish. Overall nice!

From can it’s lightly hazed honey amber with a short head. Hoppy aroma is orange, herbs, spice mix, perfume, tamarind, and some nutty amaretto effect that seems malt-derived. Medium-bodied, sweet and bitter with somewhat low carbonation. I like the orange-apricot effects, but I get a small dose of butterscotch or toffee candy that I don’t like so much.

Canned at Noble House Deep golden with a large, white head. Fruity and resinous in both aroma and flavour. Medium to high bitterness.
