Can from World Beers. Hazy gold pour with a lot of sediment at the finish. Short white head with decent retention and leaving moderate lace. Nose is balanced: citrus and malty light fruits – very pleasant. Medium-heavy body and moderate carbonation. Oranges, apricots, tea, biscuit and pine. It has characteristics of some of my favorite IPAs, but in small amounts. Finish is quite bitter, which may be a function of age or distance or storage conditions. Surprisingly good and well-balanced. If I could get this at a decent price it would be in regular rotation.

350ml Can from Lawson's Station, Kyoto (¥242):
Quite a basic IPA from Yo-Ho & one that wasn't quite as varied or bitter as anticipated going in, there was some earthy bitterness throughout & touches of pine/grapefruit but nothing seemed particularly strong or adventurous. Some background fruits & citrus towards the end made sure it remained pleasant enough but I feel it was definitely missing something.

Pours a clear golden color with a nice white head and some sticky lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, bit of pineapple, some earthy pine, and malty sweetness. Flavors were quite similar to the aroma: predominantly citrusy hops, some resinous piney bitterness, and a fair amount of sweet malt. Medium body, astringent finish. Pretty good!

Can. Light golden, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty and lightly sweetish - sweetish aroma, some caramel, some tropical fruitiness, light - some grapefruit/citrus hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, some caramel, light tropical fruitiness, light grapefruit/citrus hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and dryish - lightly sweetish, faint fruitiness, light - some citrus hoppyness, faint - light alcohol. Fruity aroma but flavor but finish almost totally lacks fruitiness. OK but nothing special.

Can pour at Kemuri in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is light citrus peels, some hay. Taste is light grass and some lemon. A very mild IPA without much flavor.

Aroma contagiante, complexo, floral e resinoso. Dourada e com espuma de boa formação. Entretanto o sabor não acompanha tudo que o aroma promete. Infelizmente é uma cerveja apenas regular.

bierkoning (13614) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - AUG 2, 2017
Can. Golden color. Citrus, lychee and soft herbal notes in the aroma. Firm herbal hopbitter flavor with citrus and a hint of peach. Pleasant but firm hopbitter finish.

Bottle @ Floris’ Leaving Party. Pours a clear golden beer with a small white head that quickly disappears. Aroma of fruity and juicy hops, light mango. Flavor is very stale, some cheesy hops and cardboard in there, light grassy and a bit weird to be fair. Not as good as the aroma suggest, unfortunately.

Sampled from can at Floris’s leaving tasting. Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, rice, tropical fruit. Buttery and malty.

Got in Koyoto. It pours golden with a white head. It has aromas of tropical fruit and a bready background. It has sweet tropical fruit flavors with a bit of grapefruit and grass. The aftertaste is moderately bitter and long lasting.
