Can. Pours hazy deep golden orange with a wispy white head. Nose of orange candy. Taste of orange candy. Sweet. A bit more like a British IPA. This was probably an oldish can, but still... meh.

Not a bad beer but too hoppy for my taste. I’ve found it hard to find good beer in Japan so far. But I haven’t been here long.

jbruner (4697) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - MAY 7, 2017
Pours a cheat golden orange from the can with wispy off-white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of spicy hop notes with earthy pine and caramel malt. Taste follows with a kind of dirty dryness, a mild bitterness. Maltier than most current Americans, but nice.

futre7 (237) - Taipei, TAIWAN - MAY 7, 2017
Can from 7-11 Beers of the Spring in Taipei, Wuxing road. I wish they would proffer that this was an American style IPA. I don’t want to get on my high horse but only American IPA’s seem to think it is an arms race in which the percentage must be obscenely high as must the sheer amount of hops used. This is rendition of an American IPA so has both the afformentioned features. That said it isn’t bad at all. Nose is sharp hops and grapefruit. The taste is again grapefruit and hops with a crisp, bitter lasting finish. This would be great on a hot day in pint form, you just have to remember that it’s 7%.

0.33 ml can at the hotel in Tokyo. Carbonated IPA, hoppy but not excessively.

I really like this Japanese IPA. Very hoppy, pretty bitter. Very well balanced. Pours copper with a white head. Ha at Juno sushi. Yummers ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Burk. Klar mörkguldfärgad med ett smutsvitt skum. Dofter av grapefrukt, tallbarr och parfym. Smakinslag av grapefrukt, tallbarr, gräs och trä. Något stickig beska, saknar sötma.

Lata. Unclear golden colour, nice bigh white ehad. Pleasant aroma of sweet like fruity hoppiness with grass. Good mouthfeel. Flavour is fruity hoppy and sweet like with a good bitterness, dry, citrus comes along with a good maltiness and caramel.

An okay IPA. Tried at the Yona Yona Beer kitchen in 2017. Pale and a decent balance of citrus and bready malts.

Senap (716) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - FEB 25, 2017
UPDATED: FEB 25, 2017 Bra bett och bra balans. En ipa som ligger väl inom normen för klassen. Lite mer frukt så hade det bli högsta betyg.

Can from Tokyo, i think Lawson. Bright amber color, bubbly white head, almost clear. Nice hoppy nose. Aroma is very hoppy, lots of resing, light caramel malts, some burnt sugar. californian IPA like. Taste is intensely bitter yet with a malty sweetish balance. Finish is clean, dry, long, bitter. Nice dry american style IPA.
