Can from Amazon as part of a Yo-Ho 4 can set. Served in a pilsner glass it pours a deep gold with a good 1 cm head of fizzy foam. Sweet, lightly bready pilsner malts. Sweet, then bready then a soapy sweetness kind of reminding me of that mini-purple chewing gum that had a slight soapiness to it. The finish is semi-dry, refreshing and lightly hoppy, it has enough of a malt profile but it a bit too sweet for me plus I donít dig that mild soapiness. Actually once I get used to it that initial soapy feeling is gone and it becomes a pretty average pils. OK. GenkiGonzo (1092) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUL 31, 2014
Can. Pale gold with almost no head. Aroma is grassy and grainy. Fairly smooth, but not a lot of flavour. Not very different from the big brewery pilsners. jdjuice (500) - Kumamoto, JAPAN - MAR 21, 2014
Pours pale yellow/gold with thin white head. Aromas are grainy, seltzer-y, like a cheap beer. Tastes pretty similar to crappy Japanese macro brews, pretty thin, not much hop character (a little nondescript bitterness on the finish). Not my favorite Yo-Ho. shoulderbroken (4255) - Tokyo, JAPAN - FEB 23, 2014
Tap at Yona Yona Beer Kitchen. Grainy aroma, taste is similar but little sweet. Bit perfumey. Hey itís alright, but not much more.

Zero finger head. Cloudy pale pills, unremarkable flavor. Grassy, little citrus... It is organic so you feel better drinking it but it might as well be Asahi. Get their Tokyo black instead.

Can. Poured a bright gold with a thin soapy head. Grainy aromas, but not much. Some flavours of malt, grass, and a touch of sour fruit. Good mouthfeel, but very short finishing. This tastes different every time I have it. Itís not bad-tasting, just uninspired and pretty forgettable overall. biirusaikou (2705) - - SEP 10, 2013
Sweet malt. Mild cereal, grain, herbs, bitter hop finish. Pretty clean, yet boring lager. mkel07 (5848) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - OCT 31, 2012
330ml can. Crisp snow white head atop a hazy amber body. Bready malty aromas that are very inviting. Full in the mouth with a smooth easy drinking mouthfeel. Good body and well balanced. jonno (2756) - JAPAN - APR 3, 2012
Better than the score suggests. Fruity, grainy and a step up from your traditional macro lager. Butt ugly can though. A bit of wheat is evident too. Comes across as a fruity golden ale. maekchu (3856) - Hirakata, JAPAN - MAR 24, 2012
Can. Fresh, grassy, slightly nutty aroma. Cloudy pale yellow, no visible carbonation, and a very slight hint of a head spread out. Grassy, pils-like flavor with a dull bitterness. Thin body, not a lot to grab onto. Pleasant enough, but could probably use a little more bittering.
