COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tokyo Black is the second brand at YoHo. A robust porter, well balanced between the malt and the hops. The complex chocolate and roast flavours of dark specialty malts are combined with a floral and slightly spiciness from Perle hops.

@Basunen 14-9-13: en tydlig doft av kaffe och mogen frukt. Smaken är lite tunn men helt ok. Lagom besk eftersmak. Helt ok. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---- Soberness not garanteed!

Light aroma of dark malt and soya. Good taste but still feels quite heavy with the dark malt one senses. Heavy bitterness that fills the mouth forever. Difficult to rate this beer. It cuts out a disadvantage and gets better the warmer it gets. Follow me @ Kung av l @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Pours dark-brown/black, with two-finger nice head with lots of lacing. Aroma has a lot of coffee, with less chocolate, earthiness and a hint of licorice. Taste has also lots of coffee, but now the chocolate and licorice are more abundant. Palte is very full and plesent for a 5% ABV beer. Nice porter, with full body and intense taste. Too bad Im not that into coffee.

350ml can. Pours a soldid dark brown, with a brown head. Roasted, malty, coffee-like aroma, dark chocolate, licorice, honey, faint hops, tar, earth. Off-dry, medium body and bitterness, balanced CO2. Roasted, malty taste, coffee, licorice root, chocolate, caramel, chestnut, earth, faintly hoppy. Quite smooth, and well balanced. Not the mst compex porter ever tried, but certainly drinkable and enjoyable. (2014-09-04)

Licorice and coffee aroma, some hard toast as well. Taste of licorice and smoked charcuteries. Im not a fan of the typical licorice porter, but I get why porter junkies like this.

(35 cl can from Systembolaget; BBD: 2014-12-10) Pours black with persistent, three finger tan head. Aroma is toasted malt with spicy notes. Oily texture, medium carbonation, medium to light body and a lingering, toasted finish. Flavour is toasted malt with some ascerbic bitterness. Decent.
