Keg, Ant n Bee, Tokyo. Pours black with a brown head subsiding average. Scentless. Taste is light lactose and light toasted malt and notes of grain. Light overall. Finish is dense, grainy, and smooth. Great. Werckmeister (3188) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - OCT 14, 2016
0,350l can at home. Unsure about BB date. almost black color, small coffee-colored head. smells parfumy, light citric, earthy, hints of chocolate, tobacco. rather decent smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of dark bread, earthy, light tobacco, licorice, some caramel. finishes lightly dry and roasty with earthy notes and licorice. a bit weird but overall good and drinkable. colui72 (1032) - HONG KONG - AUG 17, 2016
UPDATED: OCT 20, 2016 Black with a large beige head. Roasted malts aroma. Straight bitter in the palate, with a strong roast malty touch, chocolate, vanilla and good dry hops. Easy to drink and tasty. A pretty decent treat! andrepintado (3416) - Lisbon, PORTUGAL - AUG 13, 2016
Can from beermerchants. Dark color. Thin brown head. Medium sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium thin body. Aroma is cacao, liquorice, milk, chestnuts. jbruner (4747) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - AUG 5, 2016
Pours a deep brownish black from the can with fluffy tan brown head that leaves good lace. Aroma of earthy soy under mild roast. Taste has more of the roast and less of the oxidation, nice mild chocolate tones and fruity yeast. Solid porter.

Can from Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge - UK. Color: dark black beer with no carbonation and small brownish head. Smell: roasted malt caramel notes. Small coffee finish. Sweet nose. Taste: medium body with roasted malt and coffee with caramel notes. Good body, very drinkable. Good attenuation. Aftertaste: coffee and roasted malt. Small bitterness. pictoman (1129) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 14, 2016
Poured from can. Near black with light tan head. Light roast malt, slightly watery. drjoeng (1291) - SINGAPORE - JUL 13, 2016
Tapped out black brown. 34ºSRM. I’m guessing here because when it comes to the darker end of the spectrum I start to become less confident about color.
Nose has smoke and the tang of ripe stone fruit. The smoke and slightly fruity sour of a porter is for me invariably reminiscent of curing tobacco with the sour smoky tang.
Mouthfeel is watery. Palate has tons of dry ume, but without having the physical quality on the palate of being dry. There is woodsmoke, and burnt toast, black bread. Not much fruit in the palate, almost closer to the stout end of a darkly roasted grain beer. thellgren (1062) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 9, 2016
0.33 l can from food store in Tokyo. Dark brown, almost black, big tan head. Taste has dry chocolate and hops combined with sweet malts. Quite nice porter or stout or whatever.
