Tokyo Black is the second brand at YoHo. A robust porter, well balanced between the malt and the hops. The complex chocolate and roast flavours of dark specialty malts are combined with a floral and slightly spiciness from Perle hops.

(Yo-Ho Tokyo Black Porter) Can 330 ml at home, served into a snifter. Black colour on the body, with a good sized and thick, light brow head on top. Quite good foam retention. Aroma of dark bitter chocolate, light hazelnut, light moccha. Taste has roasted malts, coal, chocolate, refreshing fruity notes. Medium body, carbonation on good levels, smooth and mildly dry on the palate. Good!

Can @ Van Moll Brewpub. I can make zero sense of the date at the bottom of the can. Black, solid big mocha head. Nose is powdery mocha, sweet chocolate, big soy sauce but complimentary, pleasant mixed with lots of sugar. Taste is herbal sweet coffee, powdery, caramel, cheap chocolate syrup, plenty of sugar, coffee, caramel, toffee, low soy sauce (complimentary), creamy very easy to drink. Lovely, smooth, really nice, drinks well. Great stuff.

Can @ home. Opaque very dark brown to black color, medium sized light brown head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, light roast, caramelised sugar. Taste malts, lightly earthy, some roast, a bit earthy, a hint of hops, a hint of chocolate, lightly bitter. Decent body and carbonation.

Dark seal color, clear but non-transparent. Medium quality tanned head. Very pleasant aroma, full of dark notes - bitter chocolate, espresso coffee, even a bit of smoky notes. Really nice. Its definitely a bit over carbonated which make it even more drinkable, which is not the thing Im looking in porters. Its watery more than I was hopping it will be. In taste very nice roasted notes, dark coffee with tiny touch of chocolate. A bit of roasted bitterness in the end and in the afterates. Its very nice in overall but I would say its like a small porter with its taste, aroma, bitterness and abv.

350 ml can. (Prisma) Tallinn, Estonia.
Pitch black color with a mid-size foamy light brown head. Roasted malt, cacao, dryness, mild hops and dark chocolate in the aroma. The flavor is roasted malt, dark chocolate, dryness, mild ash and some hoppy notes. Balanced and tasty. After all its only 5%.
