Tokyo Black is the second brand at YoHo. A robust porter, well balanced between the malt and the hops. The complex chocolate and roast flavours of dark specialty malts are combined with a floral and slightly spiciness from Perle hops.

At Belgrade Eighth Tasting, round one. Can. Creamy dark black, small ring foam. Sweet perfume aroma, body is very dry, bitter coffee and chocolate. Touch sweet, very clean. Lovely.

Can. Black pour with a tall, dense, creamy brown head. Strong roasted malt, dark chocolate and light coffee notes present in the aroma. Taste is also strong roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, faint vanilla and burnt caramel. Body is medium overall with a dense, creamy carbonation. Finishes much like it began - roasted malt, dark chocolate, and coffee but adds hints of chocolate milk, more hints of vanilla and light caramel.

JPDIPSO (6223) - Wauwatosa, USA - NOV 30, 2016
Very dark brown with a taller, dense, dark tan head. Pale and toasted to roasted malt aromas. Sweeter start with malted milk and lightly roasted grains. Hints of dark chocolate. Darker grained bread in the finish. Linger is lightly dry and a bit lactic. 6/11

Holmen1 (5914) - Stavanger, NORWAY - MAY 20, 2014

altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - NOV 15, 2015
Can with Jan-Hein in Tokyo. Nice black body with medium tan head. Nose is malts, chocolate and coffee. Taste is similar of dark chocolate, malts, some caramel and spices. Quite a nice kick to it.
