Orange pour with a thin white head. Not much on the nose - malt and a little citrus. Taste is more of the same, malty, some orange, tiny bit of bitterness. It’s alright, just found it a bit meh..

Can @ home. Clear orange golden color, average sized off-white head that diminishes fairly quickly but leaves fair lacing. Aroma is malts, hops, don’t get much more initially. Taste malts, hops, bitterness, lightly tea. Firm carbonation, decent body. Hmm ok, I don’t dislike it as I like bitter beers, but I had expected it to be a little more fruity.

large frothy offwhite head. good lacing. light-amber sparkling clear thick body. Aroma: light hoppy, licorice, strawberry quik, orange. Initial flavor: moderate sweet (reminds gooseberry juice). Final flavor: light bitter moderate sweet; average duration. Palate: medium bodywatery/oily texture, lively carbonation and metallic finish. Sweeter than the average. Bitterness from quality hops. 80s USD5

From a can. Interesting brew. Dry, sweet, a finish of popcorn almost. At a tasting at De Koffer in Groningen

Can from I-don’t-remember-where. Pours hazy yellow with a hint of red and a strong off-white head. Fruity, sweet nose. Malty and surprisingly earthy with some traces of herbal hops. Possibly not at it’s best as BBE seems to have gone quite some time ago.

(Yo-Ho Yona Yona Ale) Can 330 ml at home, served into a shaker, ABV 5.5%. Deep orange coloured body, clear, with a good sized white head sitting on top, with very good retention, leaving a nice lace around the glass. Aroma of caramel malts, light fruity notes, peach and apricot but faint. Taste is nicely bitter with citrus, grass, quite hoppy, lemon peel. Thin body, nicely carbonated. Good, thirst queancher.
