   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 12/20
argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - NOV 26, 2006
(2003 vintage, 12oz bottle) Cloudy dull copper with minimal off-white head (smaller than the head on the 02). Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, brown sugar, butterscotch, light raisin. Taste is sweet, maple, caramel, plum, light butterscotch. Watery medium-full body, alcohol mostly masked. The older bottle gets significantly better marks from me.

redlight (2325) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUN 21, 2011
Earthy aromas, hints of smoke and hints of apples. Pours a dark amber with no head. Caramel malts with mild oxidation some apple notes with an earthy bitterness.

Koelschtrinker (22056) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 1, 2011

nimbleprop (8922) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - DEC 28, 2010
12oz bottle pours a lightly viscous, translucent copper brown with zero head. Nose is malty, very grainy - like it was fermented with granola, whole grain bread. Flavor is mild, brown sugar, malts, grainy bread, oranges. Medium bodied, lightly watery finish. Much different than the 2002.

Travlr (26405) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - DEC 19, 2010
Bottle courtesy of argo0, thank you sir! Amber color. Slightly more ily and syrupy than the 2002, and very slightly sweeter.

Ungstrup (38852) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - DEC 9, 2010
Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, malt, and caramel, leading to a dry and alcoholic finish.

Dickinsonbeer (5073) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - NOV 23, 2010
Had this next to the 02, and seems as though I gave this one a little higher score. Pours a hazy medium amber with a thin head. Aroma is sweet candy sugar, and malt, prunes, solvent, high esters, oxidation- paper, soy, etc. Flavor is slight solvent and soy oxidaton prune juice, fruity, slight salty meaty character, sweet and sour chicken, caramel malts, toffee, earth, leather and doughy old yeast which is probably decaying. Finish is slight salty big and sweet with a slight slickness in the end. Ok.
