Tap at new CBM. Aroma Very hoppy, grassy, biscuity malt. Taste little less exciting but still nice. Bit of citrus, decent bitterness. Soft in the mouth. Excitement fades.

330 ml bottle bought at CitySuper in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.
Looks: Translucent amber colour with a thin ring of dirt-like yeast sediments; Half finger head with residual soapy white foam which fades in 40 seconds; Fair sticky lacing with zero carbonation.
Aroma: Fragrant bready malt, with moderate citrus, orange, light passion fruits, light caramel, floral, molasses, dry biscuits, lemon and strawy grass.
Taste: Mid to light sweet Pils malt, with grapefruits, citrus peels, floral, fair molasses, light spices, earth, dry biscuits, strong lemon, and strong bitter grassy hops.
Body: Mid to light body. Crisp and fairly slick palate.
Mouth Feel: Moderate Pils maltyness in a slightly thin but slick background. Very hoppy as evident in strong grapefruit and peely citrus. Carbo is lacking. Flowery with moderate sweetness well balanced by strong hop bitterness. earthy biscuity with strong lemon to round. Pretty good!
Hoppiness: Citrus, orange, light passion fruits, floral, lemon and strawy grass in nose. Grapefruits, citrus peels, floral, light spices, earth, strong lemon and strong grass in taste; Bitterness is strong for a lasting, high astringent bitter-sweet malty finish.
After Taste: Dry. Crisp citrusy and strong bitter to mouth.
Commments: This one's aroma wasn't very impressive at first, but the strong citrus / orangey nose came though nicely. The strong citrusy hops taste remind me of an IPL, and it's pretty damn close to being one. Subtle and enjoyable, and a little more carbo will make a big difference. Worth a try!
Tap at the brewery. Clean malt-forward, grainy nose. Nice malt on the palate with slight graininess on the palate. Grassy with a touch of butter, but nothing overwhelming. Medium bitter finish. I was pleasantly surprised. KansaiBeerLvrs (5302) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUL 15, 2016
Yokohama lager, my first beer of the day at the GJBF 2016. It pours a deep gold with a bready aroma complemented by herbal noble hops. Dry finish, bright hops, green, herbal and bready. This is a crisp clean lager that tastes very fresh. TimE (6067) - Tokyo, JAPAN - JUN 23, 2016
UPDATED: AUG 18, 2016 Golden copper color. Malty minerally nose with a bit of bread. I would say this is more of a Vienna. Malty, minerally mouth with some bready notes in the background. Fairly full body for the ABV. Decent for what it is. I rated a couple month ago it wouldn’t rock my world but this version tonight at SH Meats is super clean and well put together. Great stuff. melush (4414) - SPAIN - MAY 23, 2016

Bottle. Mild caramel nose, buttery, and some vegetal notes. Dull copper color. Caramel, decent bitterness, extract-like maltiness, and some bitter tracks. Medium body. A bit thick and heavy. Not much like a lager. petewhitley (570) - Nagoya, JAPAN - JAN 11, 2016
grass, spruce, brown, cloudy, medium bitterness, astringent, medium body. Deep maltiness, nice bite to it. Could use a little more nuance; there’s a brief sweetness there that I wish was more prominent. Very solid, if one note. GenkiGonzo (1092) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 30, 2015
Draught at the Brewpub. Coppery-orange with a decent head that lasts. Surprisingly hoppy aroma for a lager. Nice bitter citrus flavour. Best lager I’ve had in a while. Tonkun (1296) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 7, 2015
UPDATED: JUL 11, 2015 Bottle. Copper pour with a big white head. Caramel, grain, floral, hop. Light body. Grainy and bitter body. Better with food goozen (4119) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - MAY 30, 2015
