330 ml bottle, labelled best before July 2017, so still relatively fresh. This pale ale pours a clear golden shade of amber with thick white froth, which after receding, leaves a nice trail of dense lacing on the glass. The aromas which bubble up are mainly floral hops of pine and resin, with a int of the malts. Taste-wise, again it is led by the piney and resinous hoppy flavours over a decent malt backbone. The taste starts off sweetish, but ends with some light bitterness. Carbonation is average and mouthfeel is decent, although it tails off being quite thin in the finish. Solid APA! On tap at Charcoal Grill Green Bashamichi, Yokohama. Hazy murky orange to amber with a lasting, off-white head. Hoppy aroma with citrus and pine, mild fruity and malty notes and hints of herbs and caramel. Medium to moderate sweet with nice and balanced hoppy flavours and a fair bitterness. Nothing special, but a tasty APA. Tonkun (1306) - New Jersey, USA - SEP 30, 2015

5.0 %. Clear amber color, good creamy white head. Wort like maltyness in the nose, hops. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Pale malty, rustic hoppy flavors. Quite standard pa. Towards English ones. biirusaikou (2705) - - JUL 22, 2014
Decent citrus nose. Bitter grapefruit, lemon zest, onion-like finish. Very light body, far from impressive for a pale ale...
