Draught. Pours pale golden with a small off-white head. Aromas are floral, grapefruit, some hops, a malty background to it, but also some fresh cereal quality to it. The flavour profile is dominated by hops, but the thin body renders a very drinkable beer. It could have been more complex, but it will do.

Itstasty (62) - East Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 17, 2016
UPDATED: JUL 25, 2016 Cask. Good pour and well presented. Light golden colour, tight head, the nose is pretty bland. Inoffensive beer but lacking depth of flavour. A low alcohol session ale ideal for summer.

Pours a blonde colour. A fairly boring blonde ale. Quite drinkable but forgetable

Taking into consideration the low alcohol percentage, this beer is quite tasty, with some sweet and zesty notes. Otherwise a boring beer, wouldnt recommend.

[7772-20150927] Cask. Mild floral grains aroma. Clear, orange yellow body with a thick creamy white head and some lacing. Bitter grainy leaf hops flavour. Medium body. Average. (7/3+/7/3/13) 3.3

Golden ale, stale hippy aroma, carbonated rather tasteless flavour, dryish finish. This is really not very good, there is a slight lemony note but it is more or less devoid of flavour. We expect better these days, Im afraid

2015-09-27. Crisp golden yellow body with a creamy off-white head and lace. 3+ Aroma is mild, light grassy hops and malt. Flavour is similarly muted with mild pale malt, light hoppy bitterness. Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Inoffensive but dull. Cask at Duck and Drake, Leeds.

Hippoman (646) - Durham, ENGLAND - SEP 28, 2015
Cask at The John Duck, Durham, 2.50/pint. A pale blonde beer with a thick, white head and slight visible carbonation. The aroma is pleasant and floral but simultaneously has plenty of malt and dairy touches. The nose portends the flavour precisely with some floral hop bitterness but well balanced with wheaty, biscuit malt flavours and short, crisp finish. Its weakened by an overly grassy aftertaste but is still enjoyable. Itd be great as a summer session beer but otherwise is pleasant if uninspired.
